​Stanley Alumni Association

Stanley Alumni Trust is a registered platform initiated during the Stanley Alumni Global Meet 2014 in Chennai on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of our esteemed institution.

The main objective is to offer Scholarships to the deserving UG students of our institution, who need financial assistance to complete the MBBS course. The rules and regulations regarding the application process, selection of the candidate, dispersal of the cheque, maintaining the trust corpus and the (interest) are supervised by the Trustees from different batches. This noble cause was discussed in detail with many Stanleans and was well appreciated.

Many individual Stanleans and Batches are contributing to the corpus as donations. Cheques are issued to the hostel account in the name of wardens only to meet the hostel fee of the beneficiaries, from the interest accrued from the corpus. ( As Fixed deposit, INR 9 lakhs for each scholarship ) All transactions are through the bank (ICICI) and are supervised by the trustees and advisors. The financial statements from the bank will be provided regularly to all the contributors via E-mail. 1957, 1967, 1975 and 1976 batches, Dr. Durairaj 1955 Batch, Dr. PalaniSamy (Kovai Medical Center), Dr.Nallathambi (US) & Family, have established one scholarship each in their name.

We look forward for contributions from Individual Stanleans and various batches to kindly contribute to this program to provide scholarships to the deserving / selected UG students.
